Vacation

So tonite is the last nite of my vacation. :( I've been off from work for 2 weeks now & i would honestly rather put a stick in my eye than go back. I've really grown to hate it recently & the mere thought of going back sickens me. But i need money so i'll go back...but not without crying about it (not literally, but you know what i mean). This has definitely been the best vacation ever though. It definitely has gotten better every year so hopefully the trend will continue & next year will somehow be even better. But anyway, the first week i went to Ocean City, MD with Marc, Michelle & her friend Chrissy. We all had such a great time that i didn't want to come home at all! We ate at lots of really delicious places, drank like fish (well some of us anyway), went on the beach, played lots of mini golf & just pretty much hung out. The weather was pretty decent too except for Friday & Saturday...especially Saturday...we were trying to move all of our shit out of the condo & the skies OPENED UP. That sucked big-time. The room that we got on the boardwalk the last nite was awesome too...we had a beach view & a balcony & everything. We got home on Sunday & then Monday me & Marc went to go see "Charlie & the Chocolate Factory" (it was pretty good but not fabulous or anything...it definitely would've been cooler in IMAX), then we hung out at my house & he left at around 7:30 that nite. Tuesday i did pretty much nothing...i got my allergy shot, i bought new sunglasses & a new eyelash curler but that was the extent of the excitement. Wednesday i got to see Chris!!! He's home from Louisiana from the 2nd through the 20th so of course i want to see him as much as humanly possible. He has such perfect timing too because i had nothing to do the second week of my vacation anyway....so Wednesday we went to Great Adventure & SWEATED OUR ASSES OFF. We got the new Q-Bot thing so that we didn't have to wait in line (which was awesome), so it wasn't too bad, but damn was it hot!! At nite we were supposed to go to the Stress Factory to see Jim Breuer with Michelle, Kelly & Kevin, but Jim cancelled on us & it was just as well anyway because we didn't have to rush around like we would've if we had gone. So instead we went to the Omega with Michelle (she insisted on meeting Chris that nite & understandably so) & Kevvy (miraculously). It was soooo great to see both of my boys again! I had missed them so much! It was funny though, when i told Michelle that she was meeting Kevin too she just didn't know what to do with herself. Thursday i went to visit my friend Allison who just had a baby on July 23rd. He's ridiculously cute & good too! He didn't cry once which was amazing. That nite i was supposed to go out to a show with Chris, Dave & Brian, but it was the wrong nite so we didn't. Friday me & Chris went to Point Pleasant & just hung out on the beach & then i dropped him off around 5:30 & went to the L's to hang out. Saturday i went to the dentist bright & early (no cavities!) & then i took a nap, had lunch & watched some Popeye cartoons with my grandfather & hung out with Michelle. We almost took a trip into the city, but unfortunately it just wasn't in the cards. I'm not worried, it will happen eventually. Today i went to Shogun with Sonia for some sushi & that's about it...oh & i won a Dooney & Bourke purse on E-Bay. DAMN RIGHT! I paid quite a bit, but it's still less than i would've paid in the store (and it's not even available anymore, which is why i was so obsessed with winning it) so it's not too bad. So that's about it. In conclusion, it was the best vacation ever...now i need to start planning the next one! Well, i'm going to go watch Iron Chef now...so see ya later, alligator.
